We are delighted to offer our banquet facilities in El Portal's Maya Room for your next private event
Located separately from the main inside seating area of the restaurant, the Maya Room is a fantastic private event option. Its maximum seating is 70 people, with a minimum of 50 guests to reserve the entire room. If fewer than 50 people, there will be a $100.00 room fee. It can also include the adjacent outside rotunda at no extra charge to set up a bar and appetizers for your reception time prior to your event.
We require a deposit of $100.00 in advance to secure the reservation on any of our rooms. That amount will be credited against the charges at the time of the event but is not refundable in case of a cancelation.
For groups of 20 or fewer we can print a special menu that usually includes three entrée choices from our regular menu along with a salad and a beverage consisting of a soft drink, tea, or coffee. Dessert can be offered, and we only charge for the number of desserts ordered at $5.00 per order.
For parties of 25 or more people, we strongly suggest a buffet service or set menu.
